About The Artist
Persis Johnson was born in Baltimore, MD, in 1993. She's been making art since childhood. She specializes in illustration and fine arts. The subjects she focuses on are portraits, figure anatomy, logo designs, character designs, concept art, food, and editorial illustrations. She uses mediums such as pencil, ink, watercolor, digital (ex., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, & Procreate), acrylic, and oil paint.
She currently works as a freelance illustrator and painter while pursuing her Master's in art education at the Maryland Institute College of Art. While she's open for commission, she's currently a background painter for an upcoming independent film titled "Painting In Darkness."
